Role Overview

We seek a creative, data-driven Email Marketer & Copywriter to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, persuasive copy for both business and consumer audiences. This role will involve writing content across various digital and print channels, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, social media content, case studies, product descriptions, and more. The ideal candidates will be able to adapt tone and messaging to engage our audience, promote brand, dive customer loyalty, and convert leads into customers, with a strong grasp of email marketing platforms, persuasive writing and a strategic mind for testing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Copywriting & Content Creation

  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for a variety of B2B and B2C marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, brochures, product descriptions, and case studies, ensuring they are compelling and aligned with branding and business objectives
  • Creates engaging copy and content across company social channels, including, but not limited to blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Regularly research, write, edit and publish SEO-optimized articles on products, benefits, audience and market.
  • Translate business goals into marketing stories executed on social media, web/app development, below the line and above the line activities.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with the company's tone and brand voice, whether it's for a business audience (B2B) or a consumer audience (B2C). Tailor messaging for each segment while maintaining coherence across all channels.
  • Adjust writing style and tone based on the format (e.g., product-focused copy, thought leadership articles, customer success stories, etc.) and intended audience (B2B or B2C).
  • Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency. Ensure that all copy is error-free and aligns with the company's editorial guidelines.
  • Craft attention-grabbing subject lines, preheaders, and calls-to-action.
  • Write SEO-friendly content optimized for search engines, including keyword research and on-page optimization to improve organic search rankings.
  • Participate in team's brainstorms and pitch story ideas to the rest of the Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with designers and product teams to create visually engaging and high-performing email content.
  • Repurpose or adapt email content for use in other marketing channels (e.g., landing pages, social media, blog posts).

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns for various business goals (e.g., product launches, promotions, onboarding, newsletters, and drip campaigns).
  • Build email marketing calendars aligned with product, sales, and content strategies.
  • Building and Maintaining Email Lists by identifying and segmenting target audiences, growing the email list, and ensuring data hygiene.
  • Responsible for the textual content of all productions based on the creative plan determined by the team.
  • Create engaging and compelling email content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice, including engaging copy, appealing visuals and persuasive calls to action.
  • Setting up automated email sequences, such as welcome emails, onboarding flows, and triggered campaigns, to nurture leads and engage subscribers.
  • Set up and execute A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, content, design, send times, etc.
  • Monitor deliverability, open/click rates, and conversions, adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Stay updated with the industry trends and the best practices in email marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics (e.g., open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate).
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance through data insights and testing.
  • Maintain knowledge of email marketing best practices, tools, and trends.

Compliance & Tools Management

  • Ensure all emails comply with legal regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Maintain clean, updated subscriber lists with regular audits.
  • Use and manage ESPs (Email Service Providers) such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or others.
  • Collaborate with CRM and automation platforms to create personalized journeys.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing and copywriting.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing tools (Brevo) and CRM platforms.
  • Has the ability to accurately understand creative briefings, and work with designers creatively in keeping with communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging and utilizing AI tools is preferred
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and email analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with HTML and responsive email design is a plus.
