Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a solid bookkeeping foundation and a passion for accuracy? We're looking for a Home-Based Bookkeeper to join our DCX team and support a growing U.S.-based client. In this role, you will handle day-to-day bookkeeping functions, reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial record maintenance while closely following client-defined processes. You'll work in a dynamic environment where flexibility, precision, and collaboration are key.

• Bookkeeping & Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting regulations, bookkeeping procedures, and financial reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain and update ledgers, ensuring all entries are precise and properly documented.

• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.

• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.

• Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processing by maintaining payroll records using accounting software and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Budget Management: Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance against budgetary forecasts.

• Data Entry and Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation. Handle petty cash transactions and reconciliations. Working with staff accountants as needed. Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.  

• Experience: 1-3 years of Bookkeeping experience, General Accounting experience, or a similar job position. 

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.  

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.

  • Knowledgeable in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software.

  • In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.

  • Previous working experience as an offshore staff is highly advantageous.

• Salary Range: PHP 50,000 – 55,000

• Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (USA)

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
