Job Description

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in tax compliance and financial accuracy. You'll prepare VAT refund documentation, ensure timely and accurate financial submissions, support audit requirements, and coordinate with internal and external partners-all while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred but not required
• At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience, with strong exposure to taxation and VAT refund processing
• Solid knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012
• Proven experience handling tax documentation, filings, and coordination with authorities
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati, Pasig, and/or Mandaluyong as needed
• Amenable to a 12-month project-based employment

Your Daily Tasks

• Prepare and process all documentation required for VAT refund claims
• Ensure all financial information is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
• Manage communication and coordination with external partners regarding VAT refund processes
• Assist with audit preparation by providing required documentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and client-related information
• Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and internal company policies
