Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in senior bookkeeping within Australia.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, superannuation, and payroll legislation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Background:

  • Registered BAS Agent (or working towards registration)
  • Experience working in a small business or SME environment
  • Familiarity with cloud-based financial tools and integrations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Process payroll in compliance with Fair Work and ATO requirements
  • Maintain employee records including superannuation and leave entitlements
  • Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
  • Ensure compliance with ATO regulations, including GST and PAYG withholding
  • Manage petty cash and company credit cards
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and/or tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php120,000.00 per month
