Job Title: Liaison Officer

Department: Legal & Compliance / Regulatory Affairs

Reports To: Regulatory Specialist / Legal Manager

Location: West McKinley, Taguig City


Position Summary

The Liaison Officer is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the company's transactions with government agencies, ensuring timely processing of permits, licenses, and other regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining compliance with local government, PAGCOR, and BIR regulations while supporting operational needs related to permitting and environmental compliance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Permitting and LGU Applications

  • Secure, process, and renew business permits and licenses in coordination with the relevant local government units (LGUs).
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations applicable to hotels, restaurants, and other facilities.
  • Maintain an updated database of all permits, licenses, and renewal schedules.

2. PAGCOR Compliance

  • Assist in monitoring changes in gaming regulations.
  • Facilitate submissions, renewals, and compliance requirements with PAGCOR.
  • Keep records of all PAGCOR-related communications and filings.

3. BIR Compliance

  • Coordinate with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Assist in the processing and submission of required BIR documentation in coordination with Finance.

4. Government Coordination

  • Serve as the company's point of contact with LGUs, PAGCOR, BIR, and other relevant agencies.
  • Represent the company during inspections, meetings, or hearings with regulatory bodies.
  • Provide updates to management regarding the status of applications and compliance matters.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Public Administration, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • At least 3 years of experience in government liaison, permitting, or regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with LGU processes, PAGCOR regulations, BIR requirements, and environmental compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
