The HR Supervisor specializes in one or more HR facet and manages the day-to-day operations of a particular unit/s in the Human Resource & Admin Dept. of J&T Express, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. HR Supervisor generally handles one or more of the following facets: employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, recruitment, and employee data management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  2. Demonstrated experience in Human Resource
  3. At least 5 years of experience as HR Officer/Team Leader handling one or more facets of HR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  2. Oversees the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions under him/her; collaborates with hiring unit to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  3. Implements on-boarding and training programs for HR Personnel under his/her responsibility.
  4. Performs routine supervision required to administer and execute human resource programs of the unit including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  5. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, as well as, complex and/or sensitive matters involving the unit/facet.
  6. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
  7. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  8. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
