Position Overview
Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of payroll data and related reports, while also supporting the administration of compensation and benefits programs. This role involves close coordination with employees, internal teams, and external providers to maintain compliance with statutory requirements and uphold the integrity of payroll and benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Prepare, validate, and consolidate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, deductions, and salary adjustments.
- Conduct preliminary checks of payroll data to ensure accuracy prior to submission for processing.
- Assist in generating payroll reports and support employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
- Safeguard confidentiality of payroll information and employee records.
Compensation and Benefits Support
- Administer employee benefits programs such as healthcare, insurance, leave administration, allowances, and government-mandated benefits.
- Coordinate with external providers and vendors regarding enrollment, claims processing, and employee-related requests.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HR information systems.
- Prepare compensation and benefits reports, benchmarking data, and compliance submissions.
- Support the implementation and communication of compensation and benefits policies and initiatives.
- Assist in recognition, rewards, and wellness initiatives to support employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and labor standards (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of payroll procedures, compensation, and benefits administration preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- High regard for confidentiality and data integrity.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Work Schedule & Setup:
- Must be amenable to work onsite near Ayala Business Park, Cebu City.
