PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Location: Clark, Pampanga

Shift: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Arrangement: Remote, Full Time

About this role . . .

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources or Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing excellent service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
• Stay up-to-date laws and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or inquiries from employees.
• Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to the supervisor or payroll manager.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure proper onboarding and offboarding of employees in the payroll system.
• Administer the electronic timekeeping system or process manual timesheets if necessary.
• Perform year-end payroll tasks
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing payroll records and documentation.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing
• Experience with payroll software and systems
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
