Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, and initiatives aligned with the overall institutional objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and leave policies.
  • Organize and oversee staff training and development programs.
  • Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Advise management on human resources issues, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Represent the school in external HR-related engagements and build partnerships with government agencies.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compensation structures, and employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in the academe or educational institution
  • Certification in HR
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
