Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, and initiatives aligned with the overall institutional objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
- Manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and leave policies.
- Organize and oversee staff training and development programs.
- Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Advise management on human resources issues, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Represent the school in external HR-related engagements and build partnerships with government agencies.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compensation structures, and employee relations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in the academe or educational institution
- Certification in HR
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
