STRATEGIC OVERSIGHT & SCHEDULE GOVERNANCE

• Develops and enforces planning standards, templates and protocols for baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and progress updates across all projects.

• Ensures consistency and quality in planning best practices, including CPM methodology and resource loading.

• Ensures consistency and quality in planning deliverables across all Planning Engineers/ Schedulers and project sites.

SCHEDULE INTEGRATION & PORTFOLIO COORDINATION

• Consolidates individual project schedules into a master program for overall tracking and resource balancing.

• Ensures alignment of planning activities with project budgets, procurement plans, and cash flow forecasts.

• Reviews and validates schedules submitted by Planning Engineers/ Schedulers before submission to clients or managements.

RISK & DELAY MANAGEMENT

• Leads delay analysis and oversee the preparation of EOT claims with proper methodologies (e.g., Time impact Analysis, Window Analysis).

• Supports Planning Engineers/Schedulers in identifying critical risks and providing mitigation strategies.

• Serves as the technical authority for schedule risk assessments and recovery plans.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

• Manages, mentors and evaluates a team of Planning Engineers across multiple projects. Identifies training needs and promotes skill development in planning tools ( e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and methodologies.

• Allocates planning resources effectively across projects based on workload and complexity.

REPORTING & CLIENT INTERFACE

• Review and approve progress reports, dashboards, S-curves and performance summaries compiled by subordinates.

• Represent the Planning function in internal and external meetings, including progress reviews with clients and consultants.

• Ensure that planning outputs meet contractual and stakeholder requirements.

INTERFACE WITH OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Commercial departments to ensure synchronized planning.

• Align planning outputs with project control systems (cost, procurement, contracts).

TOOL & PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

• Oversee the implementation and integration of planning tools and systems (Primavera, Power BI, ERP platforms).

• Lead process improvement initiative to increase planning efficiency and data transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 10 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;

• Must be a graduate of BS in Civil Engineering; Preferably with Professional license but not required;

• With strong analytical, communication, presentation skills as well as an eye for detail;

• Results-oriented, team-player with strong interpersonal skills;

• Willing to be assigned within Luzon Area;

• Amenable to commute / relocate or living near / within Luzon Area;

• CAN START IMMEDIATELY.

Archipelago Builders Corporation

The company was established in 1965, engaging in General Building Construction under the name Archipelago Builders. The office started from renting a room of a building at Rizal Avenue, Sta. Cruz, Manila and the Warehouse / Steel Shop were located at Old Samson Road, Balintawak, Quezon City.

Started with a Building Contractor-Category "C" by Professional Regulations Commission, it was later recognized as a General Building Contractor-Class "B". In the year the company doubled its personnel, rented another three (3) rooms in the same building and added another three (3) compartment warehouses and steel shop for its expanded operations for both public and private sectors. In 1977, the company was recognized as a General Engineering and General Building-Category "A", engaged in both horizontal and vertical construction.

In 1979, Archipelago Builders started construction of its own three and a one half (3 -1/2) storey building at No.29 North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, to house its main office and diversified businesses like the restaurant, construction supply and real state.

In 1987, as the company continued to grow, the category "A" further upgraded to Category 'AA'

In 1998, the year of economic crisis, inflation and political strife in the country, fortunately, Archipelago Builders was awarded quite a number of projects in Metro Manila, Southern Luzon and Visayas. Because of this, Archipelago Builders was finally upgraded to Category 'AAA'.

Today, after many years of construction experience, Archipelago Builders aims to further develop the quality of construction and help build future for this country. This is our vision and mission.
