Job Summary:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections and quality checks on kitchen equipment products and components to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications. This role involves monitoring production processes, identifying defects or non-conformities, and maintaining documentation to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspect raw materials, parts, and components upon receipt for conformity to specifications.
  • Use measuring tools and test equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters) to assess product quality.
  • Identify, record, and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and recommend adjustments to improve product quality.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality control records and documentation.
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support the calibration and maintenance of testing tools and equipment.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality meetings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the work area.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a vocational course or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing or kitchen equipment production.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards, ISO procedures, and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment components such as stainless steel parts, electrical systems, and gas fittings is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using inspection and measurement tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedules, if required.
