Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low voltage systems including CCTV systems, Fiber Optic Cable, Networking, Access Control, Antennas (e.g., Ubiquiti), FDAS, and electrical splicing. This role involves working at various client locations to ensure systems are installed properly, maintained efficiently, and meet all operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, fiber optic cabling, structured networking, access control systems, antennas such as Ubiquiti, FDAS, and perform electrical splicing.
  • Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to determine optimal system layouts and equipment requirements.
  • Perform system isolations and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently to identify and resolve faults.
  • Provide technical recommendations to clients for system upgrades, enhancements, or ongoing maintenance.
  • Generate accurate, detailed reports documenting installation progress, technical issues, resolutions, and client interactions.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on current technologies, tools, and best practices in CCTV, networking, and security systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of CCTV, fiber optic cables, and access control systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of networking, electrical splicing, and FDAS systems.
  • Familiarity with Ubiquiti antenna systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to different client sites as required.
