Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requisitions and issue corresponding Purchase Order (PO) to order materials, supplies, tools, equipment, any other tangible items and services that the company and any of its department/section.
  • Responsible for generating and submitting purchase orders in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate with vendors on price, product availability, delivery schedule and to solve any other issues, to ensure the company's long-term profitability.
  • Study assigned item categories, becoming an expert in product knowledge. Seek out new products or alternatives that are cost competitive.

Qualifications

  • At least any 4 year bachelor's degree, preferably business related
  • High degree of negotiation skills
  • Can speak Chinese is an advantage but not required
