About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will drive revenue by converting high-potential leads, developing strategic accounts, and creating new business opportunities. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, while conducting ongoing market research to identify opportunities and enhance strategies.
This is a 100% Remote, Work from Home Setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Development
- Identify and develop relationships within agreed target groups.
- Craft tailored proposals and secure ongoing relationships and repeat orders.
2. New Business Hunting & Relationship Building
- Conduct outbound prospecting across appropriate channels.
- Establish partnerships that lead to steady, long-term sales.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align funnels, messaging, and lead scoring for this account group.
3. Market Research & Intelligence
- Track market trends, consumer preferences, competitor positioning, and emerging channels.
- Translate insights into practical recommendations for targeting, offers, and outreach.
- Present concise findings to management on a regular cadence.
4. Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and deal forecasting.
- Extract and interpret data to surface opportunities and risks.
- Provide weekly performance updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Business Management (BBM)
- 2-3 years of established track record as a Business Developer
- Proven sales experience in premium consumer goods, interior/lifestyle products, or hospitality solutions
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Comfortable with both B2C consultative selling and B2B account development
- Self-driven with a hunter mentality
- Experience in working with affluent/middle-class markets preferred
