POSITION DESCRIPTION

The
Technical Consultant (Palo Alto Focus)
is responsible for:

  • Working closely with sales and product teams to design and position Palo Alto Networks–centric solutions
  • Conducting Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), solution validations, and preparing technical proposals with emphasis on Palo Alto technologies (NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access, Cortex, etc.)
  • Delivering solution presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops focused on Palo Alto Networks security platforms
  • Providing both pre-sales and post-sales support, including deployment guidance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Palo Alto solutions
  • Proposing, evaluating, and exploring new and emerging cybersecurity technologies, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto's evolving product ecosystem
  • Performing any other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Security Design Architecture, OSI and TCP/IP models, and core network security principles
  • Practical hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies (e.g., Next-Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access SASE, Cortex XDR)
  • Experience with broader security technologies such as firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Enterprise Browsers (experience in multiple areas is a plus)
  • Proficiency in at least one Palo Alto product area:
    Cortex XDR, Prisma Access (SASE), or Enterprise Browser security
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the IT Security domain in a technical capacity
  • Relevant Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE) are highly advantageous
