The Presales Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions that align with business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of a wide range of IT solutions, including cybersecurity, hyper converged infrastructure (HCI), backup and recovery systems, and data center architecture.

The Presales Engineer will work closely with sales, technical teams, and clients to ensure solutions are optimized for both functionality and security.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop IT architecture that integrates cybersecurity, HCI, backup and recovery, and data center solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend the best-fit technology stack for various business and technical needs.
  • Provide technical guidance during the pre-sales process, including preparing presentations, proposals, and conducting client-facing meetings to articulate the value of proposed solutions.
  • Lead the technical implementation of solutions, ensuring seamless integration and addressing potential risks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their current IT environment, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards while being aligned with industry best practices.
  • Work alongside sales, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Participate in project handover and provide continued technical support during and after the implementation phase.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in cybersecurity, HCI, data management, cloud services, and data centers to keep solutions relevant and competitive.
  • Continuously refine architectural frameworks to incorporate new technologies and improve system performance.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, HCI, backup and recovery, data center solutions, and other IT infrastructure technologies.
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying complex IT systems and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms.
  • Certifications in relevant IT domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM, VMware, Nutanix, etc.) are an advantage.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati City.
