Merchandising Manager oversees the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies.

Sales Analysis and Reporting

Compile, analyze and report sales, competitor, customer and market data. Review, analyze and utilize historical data.

Develop strategies to achieve the company's sales and inventory goals.

Assortment Management

Identify gaps in the assortment and provide directions for product development.

Rationalize the assortment of the assigned brand.

Streamline the assortment per store to suit each store's profile.

Manage and monitor internal and external product database documentation.

Planogram Management

Review and analyze the impact of planograms on sales and inventory.

Develop strategic planograms aligned with sales, inventory, brand and customer goals.

Pricing Management

Review and analyze product position, competitor pricing and market expectations.

Develop and implement pricing strategies to achieve the company's sales and margin goals.

Develop strategic promotion strategies aligned with the company's sales, inventory and margin goals.

Inventory Management

Keep inventory levels at high efficiency and healthy level, stock movement strategies, and designated merchandising programs in line with the overall merchandise portfolio.

Oversees merchandisers in managing stock position i.e., reorders, sales analysis, depletion of old, discontinued & slow-moving items.

Team Management

Lead the Merchandising team and oversee all Merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.

5+ years of experience of merchandising.

Strong sales analysis and forecasting skills

Knowledgeable in Inventory Management

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel
