ABOUT THE ROLE

The prospective client is seeking a motivated Automation Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in coding fundamentals, APIs, and workflow automation. This role is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining automation solutions using no-code/low-code platforms combined with basic coding and API knowledge. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of connecting multiple systems into seamless workflows.

Key Responsibilities


• Automation Development: Build and maintain workflow automations using tools such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or n8n.


• API Integration: Connect applications through REST APIs and webhooks; map and transform data across systems.


• Testing & QA: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of automation workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.


• Documentation: Clearly document workflows, integrations, and processes for future maintenance and scalability.


• Continuous Learning: Stay current with new automation tools, coding practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven workflows, RPA).


• Collaboration: Work with developers, business teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions that enhance productivity.

Qualifications


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development, QA, or automation engineering.


• Technical Skills:


• Basic proficiency in JavaScript ) or Python.


• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.


• Familiarity with SQL for handling structured data.


• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code platforms such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), Power Automate, Workato, or n8n.


• Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.


• Growth-Oriented: Willingness and curiosity to learn new technologies, especially in automation and AI.


• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to document and explain workflows clearly.
