We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead who can balance hands-on testing with team leadership. This role involves leading and mentoring a QA team while actively participating in the planning, design, and execution of manual and automated tests.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to guide others in maintaining quality standards throughout the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA, providing guidance, feedback, and training.

  • Actively participate in test planning, test case creation, and execution of manual and automated tests.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve test frameworks and automation pipelines.

  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define quality goals and ensure timely delivery.

  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with teams to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Establish and enforce QA best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy in testing processes.

  • Monitor and assess the team's performance, helping them grow technically and professionally.

  • Stay updated on the latest QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance quality processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.

  • Proficiency with testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest.

  • Experience in API testing, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect tracking systems.

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
