The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of materials. The position requires strong leadership skills, good communication, and basic computer knowledge to monitor operations, inventory, and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead warehouse staff such as checkers, scanners, and helpers during daily operations.
  • Assign and monitor tasks to ensure proper receiving, checking, scanning, and dispatching of goods.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory counts and proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Use computer systems or warehouse software to record and track stock movements.
  • Implement safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, logistics, and accounting) regarding deliveries and stock status.
  • Train and guide new team members to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare daily or weekly reports and submit them to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
  • Handle minor conflicts or issues within the team and escalate serious matters to management.

Qualifications:

  • College Level or Graduate (any business or logistics-related course is an advantage).
  • With at least 1–2 years of experience as a Team Leader or in warehouse operations.
  • Computer literate (knowledgeable in MS Excel, Word, and inventory systems).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
  • Responsible, trustworthy, and results-oriented.
