Return Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Return Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all return operations, ensuring that all returned items are properly received, inspected, recorded, and processed according to company policies. This role ensures accuracy in return documentation, maintains product quality control, and coordinates with other departments to resolve discrepancies and customer concerns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily return activities and ensure all returned items are properly logged, inspected, and stored.
• Verify return authorizations and documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, quality control, and customer service teams regarding returned or damaged goods.
• Monitor and track return reports to identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of return transactions into the system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the return area.
• Train, guide, and evaluate return staff performance.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly return activity reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and inventory control procedures.
• Handle escalations and assist in resolving discrepancies related to returned items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or return operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
