Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Planning

  • Own the account plan for designated accounts, applying structured planning methodologies.
  • Gather and disseminate strategic account intelligence (e.g., competitor activity, market developments, client organisation changes).
  • Act as the client's primary contact post-sale, structuring, managing, and monitoring progress toward goals.
  • Coordinate plans with internal stakeholders and manage communications on developments, technical matters, and operational issues.
  • Detect and mitigate competitor activity by maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

Relationship & Product Engagement Management

  • Build strong relationships across client organisations at senior and functional levels.
  • Establish Glow's presence across business areas and operating divisions.
  • Support development of use cases with clients, showcasing full Glow product capabilities.
  • Leverage executive and technical resources for pitches, presentations, events, and awards.
  • Run regular account governance meetings and capture all relevant data in the Account Plan.
  • Collaborate with product, servicing, and operations teams to evaluate and report on product journey performance, ensuring customer experiences are consistent and compliant.
  • Contribute insights during complaint escalations and system issue investigations, providing root cause feedback and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

To succeed in this role you need

  • Drive and enthusiasm; a systematic, energetic approach to achieving objectives.
  • At least 5 years' experience in account development, ideally in lending, consumer finance, fintech, consumer electronics, or telecommunications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills, from sales through technology to operations.
  • Proven ability to present, negotiate, and build trust up to the  C-suite executives.
  • Discipline to own ideas from inception through delivery, with problem-solving pragmatism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the humility to seek help when needed and the confidence to lead discussions for win/win outcomes.
  • Creativity and a solutions-focused mindset, both for growth opportunities and operational challenges.
  • Collaborative and curious mindset, eager to explore new methods and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • A sense of fun and the ability to foster open, trusting team relationships.
