QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related engineering course
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in ready-mix concrete or construction quality control
  • Knowledgeable in batching plant operations, concrete testing standards, and quality management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Management and Control

  • Monitor and implement the Quality Control Plan of the batching plant to ensure that products meet required standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct daily testing and inspection of concrete raw materials and fresh concrete prior to release.
  • Prepare analysis reports on compressive strength and workability results.
  • Coordinate with Operations regarding daily pouring activities and returned concrete management.
  • Prepare and submit material testing reports for quality assurance evaluation.
  • Report any non-conformance or unusual test results and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.

Planning, Monitoring, and Documentation

  • Assist in planning and monitoring testing schedules to ensure timely completion and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and value-engineering initiatives related to concrete mix designs and process efficiency.

Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

  • Report any unsafe acts, working conditions, or procedures for immediate resolution.
  • Comply with all EHS standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Coordination and Communication

  • Coordinate with project sites, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party testing laboratories regarding testing schedules and quality concerns.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates to the Quality Control Supervisor.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend mix design optimization and process improvements to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support research and development efforts to ensure continuous enhancement of quality control practices.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.
