Job description:

An accounting officer manages an organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with financial and tax laws, and efficiency in financial operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, overseeing expenditures, assisting with audits, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulations. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and strong attention to detail are typically required for the role. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Management: Maintaining and reviewing financial records, bookkeeping, and managing accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements, budgets, and various reports on expenditure and profits.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Expenditure Monitoring: Monitoring expenditures and providing reports to help control costs.
  • Auditing and Internal Controls: Assisting with audits and implementing internal management systems and risks.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handling specific accounting tasks, such as preparing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is generally required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and competencies, with proficiency in accounting software and systems.
  • Soft Skills: A high degree of attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
