About the role

International Marketing Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team based in Makati City Metro Manila. This is a full-time permanent position that will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to support the business in achieving its strategic goals.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and overseeing the work of the accounting team, including reviewing financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
  2. Ensuring accurate and timely month-end close procedures and financial reporting
  3. Preparing and analysing financial statements, variance reports, and other key performance indicators
  4. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations
  5. Liaising with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
  7. Providing training and support to junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a financial accounting team
  3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
  4. Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  8. Familiarity with international accounting standards and regulations
