We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. The Accounting Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant
  • With at least 2 years of work experience as an Accounting Supervisor or in a similar role (Asst. Manager/Manager)
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in top 5 audit or accounting firms, and the business process outsourcing industry, is an advantage
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy, adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial activities, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Conduct a detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets, investigate variances, and provide explanations and recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings, including income tax returns, sales tax returns, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and supporting schedules. Address audit queries and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes. Implement changes to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned
