Job Summary:

The Training Officer is responsible for planning, developing, and conducting training programs to enhance the skills and performance of employees, particularly sales associates and head office staff. This role ensures that all employees are knowledgeable about company products, policies, and service standards to achieve business goals and maintain consistent customer satisfaction across all branches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training and Development

  • Design, organize, and implement training programs for sales associates and head office personnel.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and evaluation tools.
  • Conduct refresher courses on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.

2. Policy and Compliance Training

  • Communicate and ensure understanding of company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Conduct compliance and policy awareness trainings regularly.

3. Evaluation and Reporting

  • Assess training effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and performance assessments.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and reports.

4. Coordination and Support

  • Work closely with HR, Operations, and Store Managers in identifying training needs.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and venues.
  • Stay updated on retail and training best practices to improve programs continuously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training, learning and development, or HR, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and presentation tools.
