Job Summary

The HR Officer – Recruitment and Training and Development is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and leading training and development programs. This role ensures the company attracts top talent, integrates new hires effectively, and supports continuous employee growth and performance improvement.

Recruitment

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the company's goals and staffing needs.
  • Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms such as job boards, social media, and company websites.
  • Source and engage candidates through various channels, including job fairs, networking events, and partnerships with universities.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and assist hiring managers in candidate evaluation.
  • Oversee the entire interview process, including coordinating panel interviews and providing feedback.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, manage the negotiation process, and ensure seamless pre-employment paperwork.
  • Maintain recruitment pipelines for future hiring needs and build strong relationships with recruitment agencies and talent pools.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Request work emails for new hires and ensure proper enrollment in the company HR system.

Training and Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with department heads to identify areas for employee development.
  • Design and implement training programs to address skill gaps and improve employee performance.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of both internal and external training programs (e.g., workshops, seminars, webinars).
  • Ensure training programs align with the company's objectives, values, and strategic goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, conducting follow-up assessments, and gathering feedback from participants.
  • Maintain detailed records of all employee training activities, including attendance, completion rates, certifications, and licenses
  • Facilitate ongoing learning and development initiatives, including mentorship programs and cross-training opportunities.
  • Identify trends in employee skill gaps and recommend innovative approaches to address training and development needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in recruitment and training.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and employee development practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/LMS is an advantage.
