Job Summary
The HR Officer – Recruitment and Training and Development is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and leading training and development programs. This role ensures the company attracts top talent, integrates new hires effectively, and supports continuous employee growth and performance improvement.
Recruitment
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the company's goals and staffing needs.
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms such as job boards, social media, and company websites.
- Source and engage candidates through various channels, including job fairs, networking events, and partnerships with universities.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and assist hiring managers in candidate evaluation.
- Oversee the entire interview process, including coordinating panel interviews and providing feedback.
- Prepare and extend job offers, manage the negotiation process, and ensure seamless pre-employment paperwork.
- Maintain recruitment pipelines to meet future hiring needs and foster strong relationships with recruitment agencies and talent pools.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Request work emails for new hires and ensure proper enrollment in the company HR system.
Training and Development
- Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with department heads to identify areas for employee development.
- Design and implement training programs to address skill gaps and improve employee performance.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of both internal and external training programs (e.g., workshops, seminars, webinars).
- Ensure training programs align with the company's objectives, values, and strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, conducting follow-up assessments, and gathering feedback from participants.
- Maintain detailed records of all employee training activities, including attendance, completion rates, certifications, and licenses
- Facilitate ongoing learning and development initiatives, including mentorship programs and cross-training opportunities.
- Identify trends in employee skill gaps and recommend innovative approaches to address training and development needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment and training.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and employee development practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS/LMS is an advantage.
