DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Tax Monitoring and Compliance

  • Ensures the monitoring of tax are filed and paid (annual income tax, property tax, withholding tax, percentage tax, value added tax, capital gains tax)
  • Participates in all tax reconciliations and balances.

B. Accounting and Treasury Functions

  • Preparation and monitoring of Financial Statements such as cash flow, monthly income statement, comparative income statement, and etc.
  • Maintain the General and Subsidiary Ledgers, verified and reconciled.
  • Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Ensures P&L's transaction are covered by adequate documents and do not have any deviations.
  • Completes Balance Sheet Reconciliations accurately by the deadline set by published accounting calendar with all unusual items properly followed up on and completely examined.
  • Prepares closing entries and input table information properly and keeps up to date account records.
  • Ensures timely payment of obligations, control capital, expenditure and respond to risks that might affect the achievement of the company targets.
  • Monitor passbooks during updating, check issuances, cash collection and every financial transaction
  • Monitor and ensure cash and check collections are deposited
  • Ensure enough funding on check issuances and online bank transfers.
  • Monitor check or cash payments for loan amortization of properties, rental or lease of commercial space, suppliers, royalty fees, government payments, contractors, and other payables.
  • Ensure government mandated contributions (SSS, PAGIBIG, AND PHILHEALTH) and business permits to local government units are compliant
  • Provide updates and implementation for government regulations such as wage increase, increase in government contributions, etc., but not limited to the ones enumerated
  • Ensure company has enough funding for all payment requirements (government, lessors, suppliers, administrations, payroll)
  • Maintain and ensure confidentiality with all records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of BS-Accountancy
  • With 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
  • Keen to details
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel Formulas)
  • Willing to work in Binan Laguna

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
