General Accounting and Reporting Manager 101 Shuttle Service Incorporated is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to manage tax compliance, financial reporting, and treasury functions. Qualifications 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel formulas). Willing to work in Binan Laguna. Duties and Responsibilities A. Tax Monitoring and Compliance Ensures that taxes (annual income tax, property tax, withholding tax, percentage tax, value added tax, capital gains tax) are filed and paid. Participates in all tax reconciliations and balances. B. Accounting and Treasury Functions Prepares and monitors financial statements such as cash flow, monthly income statement, comparative income statement, etc. Maintains the general and subsidiary ledgers, verifies and reconciles them. Develops systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. Ensures P&L transactions are supported by adequate documentation and have no deviations. Completes balance sheet reconciliations accurately by the deadline set by the published accounting calendar, following up on all unusual items. Prepares closing entries and inputs table information properly, keeping account records up to date. Ensures timely payment of obligations, controls capital and expenditure, and mitigates risks that might affect company targets. Monitors passbooks during updates, checks issuances, cash collection, and all financial transactions. Monitors and ensures cash and check collections are deposited. Ensures sufficient funding for check issuances and online bank transfers. Monitors cash or check payments for loan amortization of properties, rental or lease of commercial space, suppliers, royalty fees, government payments, contractors, and other payables. Ensures compliance with government mandated contributions (SSS, PAGIBIG, PHILHEALTH) and business permits to local government units. Provides updates on and implements government regulations such as wage increases and increased contributions. Ensures the company has sufficient funding for all payment requirements (government, lessors, suppliers, administrations, payroll). Maintains and ensures confidentiality of all records.
