Primary Function:

  • Reporting to the Accounts Payable (AP) Manager and acting as a valued member of the Finance Team.
  • You will work with various Finance teams members locally in Manila as well as engage with each of the Country Finance Managers/Team in APAC & EMEA as assigned.
  • You will be working under the Finance and Accounting business services group and will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable.
  • You will ensure that all processes are properly accounted for at the end of business day.
  • You will be complying with all company published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Code and input invoices into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with purchase ledger records.
  • Prepare and process payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier accounts.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate reports on purchase ledger activities as required.
  • Participate in cross-training with other team members.
  • Participates in projects related to Accounts Payable improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for:

  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • With 2 – 3 years of working in Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities in fast-paced settings.
  • Services set up or any finance related role/s.
  • Proactive problem-solving and issue escalation.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality service.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and any other business courses. Preferably with experience in credit control or accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of credit management and debt collection practices.
  • Shipping company experience is a plus, but not required

Start Date: IMMEDIATELY

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php33,500.00 per month
