Role Description

The Assistant Legal Counsel will provide legal support, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and assisting in managing legal risks for the company. The role involves conducting legal research, providing advice on corporate governance, and addressing issues related to labor laws and intellectual property. Coordination with internal stakeholders and external legal partners is a key part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Contracts, and Legal Compliance
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents
  • Proficiency in Legal Research and Corporate Governance
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws and Intellectual Property regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Law and a valid license to practice law in the Philippines
  • Previous in-house legal counsel experience or law firm experience is an advantage
