About the role

As the Facilities and Maintenance Officer at Hyundai Laguna Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running and upkeep of our manufacturing facility in Binan City Laguna. This full-time position will see you responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities across the site, helping to maintain a safe, functional and well-presented work environment for our employees.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular inspections and assessments of the building, equipment and infrastructure to identify any maintenance requirements or potential issues
  2. Coordinating and supervising the work of maintenance technicians and contractors to complete repair and servicing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, spare parts, and equipment servicing
  4. Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, and developing maintenance schedules accordingly
  5. Recommending and implementing improvements to maintenance processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency
  6. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience in a facilities or maintenance management role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  2. Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in the maintenance and repair of building infrastructure, equipment and machinery
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
  4. Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
  5. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining comprehensive documentation
  6. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in areas such as electrical, plumbing or HVAC
