Responsible for executing manual tests, documenting results, and ensuring that software meets quality standards. They work closely with developers and product teams to validate features and identify bugs. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in testing and a strong attention to detail.

About the Role

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and organized manner.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability and edge-case issues.
  • Validate new features and ensure backward compatibility with existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Conduct basic database validation using SQL queries.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test data and assisting stakeholders.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the QA team.
  • Learn and gradually contribute to test automation efforts under guidance.

About the Candidate:

  • Strong experience in defect reporting, tracking and management.
  • Experience working with database operations.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience in: Requirement's analysis, Test planning, Test case.
  • Detailing and defect tracking.
  • Strong experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Skilled at problem solving.
  • Experience working with API calls.
  • Quick understanding of the functionality of the application under test.
  • Out of the box thinking to test and break the application under test.
  • Experience with any automated and / or performance test tools is a plus.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must possess their own work equipment and have access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
