Quality Assurance Associate

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test cases and test scripts
  • Maintain and update test case repositories
  • Conduct Functional testing, System Testing and Regression testing
  • Identify, document, and report bugs or defects using a designated bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira)
  • Communicate defect findings to the development team and retest once fixes are applied
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Ensure that the Company standards are observed.
  • Make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • At least a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or any related field).
  • At least two (2) years of experience in software quality assurance (or any other similar experience).
  • Certificate or training in quality assurance is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Optional Skills:

  • Test Automation tools (Selenium, Appium)
  • Version Control Systems (Git)
  • Knowledge on mobile testing
  • Knowledge API Testing
