We are now expanding our Sales & Client Success function and are seeking a driven, relationship-oriented professional who can own both client acquisition and account management.
Role Summary:The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, qualifying prospects, managing client relationships, ensuring successful onboarding, and retaining accounts through ongoing engagement.

You will be the primary point of contact for clients throughout their entire journey; from interest → onboarding → matching → ongoing success.Core Purpose:To grow TailoredTeams' customer base and retain long-term accounts by delivering exceptional client experience, solving client needs, and ensuring successful placements of remote talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound leads, discovery calls, and qualification conversations with founders, executives, and business owners.
- Understand client workloads, delegation needs, and operational gaps to recommend the right talent solution.
- Clearly articulate TailoredTeams' value proposition, pricing, and talent capabilities.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through consistent follow-ups and structured communication.
- Guide new clients through the onboarding flow including needs assessment, role scoping, and success goals.
- Coordinate internally to ensure clients receive the right shortlist of candidates.
- Prepare clients for interviews and support the selection process to help them hire confidently and quickly.
- Monitor assistant performance by checking in with clients regularly.
- Provide guidance on delegation, productivity, and maximizing the value of their assistant.
- Identify opportunities for clients to upgrade to higher service tiers or add multiple assistants.
- Recommend specialized talent (operations, marketing, project management) when client needs expand.
- Work closely with leadership to execute account expansion strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the talent recruitment team to ensure accurate scoping and matching.
- Share client feedback with product, operations, and recruiting to improve the service.
- Coordinate with support teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM records across the full client lifecycle.
- Track KPIs such as Lead → client conversion, Onboarding completion rate, Churn rate, Account expansions & Client satisfaction.
- Prepare weekly sales and retention reports with insights and next steps.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in Sales, Account management, Customer success, Talent placement, Staffing or recruiting (bonus)
- Strong consultative selling ability.
- Excellent communication: clear, confident, relationship-driven.
- Understanding of remote work culture, virtual teams, and delegation workflows.
- Experience handling US-based clients preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or similar).
- Strong email, LinkedIn, and calendar management communication.
- Ability to document conversations, create notes, and organize client needs.
BONUS/Good to HAVE:
Experience working in Staffing Agency or HR background
