We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day financial operations for a fast-growing, U.S.-based business. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping—it's ideal for someone who brings strong accounting expertise and a strategic mindset to drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and financial visibility.

You'll play a hands-on role in managing core financial functions including bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, and payroll, while also contributing to the design and execution of scalable systems and reporting tools. Long-term, this position has potential to evolve into a client-facing or leadership role as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities in QuickBooks
  • Reconcile accounts and support month-end/year-end closings
  • Oversee invoicing, payments, payroll entries, and expense workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to streamline financial handoffs
  • Assist in building reporting dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools
  • Ensure clean, accurate, and timely financial reporting in line with U.S. accounting standards

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Document and optimize financial processes (billing cycles, revenue tracking, etc.)
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose or implement improvements through automation tools
  • Build and maintain SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Support the integration of new tools or systems as the business scales
  • Partner with controllers or leadership on financial strategy and reporting accuracy

Qualifications:Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounting, finance operations, or business operations experience (U.S.-based clients preferred) (Construction)
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and/or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Zapier, or HubSpot is a plus
  • Deep understanding of U.S. accounting standards and bookkeeping best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Highly organized, analytical, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced remote setup
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Process-minded with a passion for improving workflows, automating tasks, and solving problems

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.

We conduct background checks. Submission of a valid NBI Clearance is required upon onboarding.
