JCC Asia Back Office Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with proven mid-level accounting capabilities to fulfil the above new role based in Manila, Philippines. The role will support the existing team within our Finance department and the Atlas Board in delivering on its Company objectives through ongoing effective oversight and management of the day-to-day operations of Atlas Outsourcing Pty Ltd.

1. Support the Director Finance Services in the daily management and processes of the organisation.

2. Providing financial information to the CEO via the Director of Finance by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports.

3. Preparing invoices, bookkeeping and preparing reports specifically relating to corporate client- based account.

4. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

5. Recommends financial actions to the Director Finance by analysing accounting options.

6. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

7. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

8. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.

9. Maintains financial security by following internal policy controls.

10. Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

11. Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.

12. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

- Knowledge in generally accepted accounting practices and principles.

- Competent English communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal skills.

- Willing and able to learn the use of industry specific software and operating systems.

- Competent computer skills - familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to multi-task, manage time and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.

- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

- Able to demonstrate a good work ethic by being loyal and punctual.

- Ability to work independently in a team environment.

- Willingness to work within the Australian (Victorian) Public Holiday calendar.

- Bachelor's Degree or College Degree in appropriate financial / accounting field of study.

- Candidates living far distances (1.5 hours or more travel time) from Makati will be required to relocate closer to the office, with generous relocation allowance payable monthly by the company.
