About the role

Webcor Construction Inc., a leading construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced License Geodetic Engineer to join our team. As a full-time member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects, utilizing your expertise in surveying and land management.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting land surveys, property boundary demarcations, and topographic mapping to support the successful delivery of our construction projects
  • Providing technical guidance and oversight on the implementation of survey and mapping activities
  • Analysing and interpreting survey data to produce accurate and detailed plans, drawings, and reports
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure survey requirements are met
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to surveying and land management
  • Mentoring and training junior members of the surveying team
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies, methodologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Professional license as a Geodetic Engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, software, and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
