Basic Function

The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. In the fintech and electronic money issuance (EMI) environment, the BA ensures that business needs are translated into effective, compliant, and scalable solutions that support payments, e-wallets, remittances, and digital financial services.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Analyze workflows, business processes, and system interactions for optimization.

Business Process Design & Documentation

  • Create process maps, user stories, and use cases for system enhancements.
  • Document business requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date business requirement documents (BRDs) and system documentation.

Solution Development & Implementation Support

  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and system analysts to ensure requirements are met.
  • Support testing phases by preparing test cases, conducting UAT, and validating deliverables against requirements.
  • Participate in solution design discussions to align system functionality with business goals.

Compliance & Risk Considerations

  • Ensure requirements and solutions comply with BSP regulations, AMLA, PCI-DSS, and Data Privacy laws.
  • Identify potential risks in business processes and propose mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training for stakeholders and end-users.
  • Provide continuous feedback loops between project teams and stakeholders.

Market & Product Analysis

  • Conduct industry research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to support business strategy.
  • Recommend product and process improvements for customer experience and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, EMI, banking, or payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments, e-wallet

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
