Data Analysis & Reporting

Job Summary

The Business Analyst (Hospitality) is responsible for providing data-driven insights and business intelligence to support strategic decisions in resort operations, sales, marketing, and finance. This role focuses on analyzing guest trends, revenue performance, cost structures, and competitive benchmarks to enhance profitability and improve guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, F&B performance).
  • Prepare dashboards, financial models, and business forecasts for management review.
  • Track KPI performance across departments and provide actionable insights.

Revenue & Market Insights

  • Monitor market trends, competitor benchmarks, and guest behaviors.
  • Support revenue management strategies (BAR, promotions, seasonal packages).
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, F&B concepts, or expansions.

Operational & Financial Support

  • Work with Finance to analyze cost control, labor ratios, and profitability.
  • Support Operations with manpower planning analysis and productivity measures.
  • Review procurement and supply chain costs to identify optimization opportunities.

Business Development Support

  • Assist in preparing investor decks, corporate proposals, and feasibility studies.
  • Provide ROI projections and scenario simulations for new ventures.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

System & Process Enhancement

  • Evaluate PMS, POS, and digital platforms for efficiency improvements.
  • Recommend automation and digitization initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Support the integration of business intelligence tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Revenue Analyst in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, GOP, NOP) and F&B performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and hotel PMS/CRM systems.
  • Background in hospitality operations (Front Office, Reservations, F&B) is a strong advantage.
