About the role

Paratron Industries' is seeking an Application Specialist to join our dynamic team in San Juan City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and ensuring the seamless operation of our innovative healthcare technology solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first and second-level support to internal and external users, diagnosing and resolving application errors, software bugs, and technical issues.
  • Installation, Configuration, & Maintenance: Install, configure, test, and maintain software applications, including applying updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure system stability and security.
  • User Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions (in-person or online) for end-users to promote effective application usage and self-sufficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor application performance, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, capacity, and fault tolerance.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with software developers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to address complex issues, gather requirements, and assist in the development and implementation of new features.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document support procedures, issue resolutions, processes, and user guides. Log all requests and solutions in a ticketing system to track trends and ensure a knowledge base is maintained.
  • Project Support: Participate in software implementation projects, including testing, quality assurance (QA), and migration activities.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare IT or technical support role
  2. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
  4. Familiarity with healthcare software applications and industry regulations
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies
  7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  8. Licensed MedTech
