
Chief Finance Officer

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the company's overall financial strategy, planning, and operations. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO ensures sound financial management, compliance with government regulations, and sustainable growth of the company engaged in repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and management team based on financial analysis and projections.
2. Financial Management & Control
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, treasury, and auditing functions.
- Establish internal control policies, procedures, and systems to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor expenditures, revenues, and project profitability to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
3. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, government regulations, and financial reporting standards (BIR, SEC, DTI, LGU).
- Manage financial risks by implementing effective policies for credit, collections, insurance, and contracts.
- Oversee statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
4. Business Support & Decision-Making
- Provide financial insights for project bidding, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Support operational teams in evaluating cost-benefit analyses for maintenance and rehabilitation projects.
- Partner with HR and Admin in structuring compensation, benefits, and manpower planning based on financial capacity.
5. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring competency, efficiency, and integrity.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other department heads (Operations, Admin, HR, Procurement) to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 8–10 years progressive experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in construction, repair, maintenance, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, government compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience in budgeting, project costing, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practices.
