About the role

Kura Cafe' is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in our General Trias City Cavite location. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  2. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations
  4. Provide support to the Finance team in the analysis of financial data and the implementation of financial controls
  5. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial information and recommendations
  6. Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes, as required
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial practices and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification
  3. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  5. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  7. Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting standards
