JOB OVERVIEW

The Data Analyst will focus on managing, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data management, reporting, and dashboard development using Power BI, along with a solid understanding of data governance and best practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Management & Analysis

• Collect, clean, and structure data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Perform data analysis to generate insights that support business objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.

• Power BI Development

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Optimize data models and visualizations for performance and usability.
• Implement and manage Power BI gateways, datasets, and security settings.

• Collaboration & Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, sales, etc.) to deliver actionable insights.

• Train and support users in accessing and interpreting Power BI dashboards.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data integrity, reporting errors, and dashboard functionality.

• Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

• Maintain documentation for data sources, processes, and reporting workflows.
• Continuously improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation and process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI development.
• Proven experience with Power BI (report creation, DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
