Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of sweet and savory pastries, cakes, and desserts to the highest quality standards.

Job description:

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Follow recipes. Formulas, and production procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work closely to bakery team to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation standards
  • Ability to create visually appealing pastries and desserts, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cake decoration techniques is a plus
  • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
  • Certification or degree from a culinary school is a plus
