Job Description:

As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within scope. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules, manage timelines, and report on project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management software to track and report on project timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in scheduling.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide scheduling input.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards is an advantage.

Recommended Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello or Jira.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Knowledge of scheduling methodologies like Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT).
