About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Hub's United Business Solutions Inc., you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. In this full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, contributing to strategic decision-making, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing full set of accounts including month-end closing;
  • Performing daily accounting function and provide general accounting support;
  • Filing official documents to government departments and BIR (including tax return, SSS, Pagibig Philhealth ) preferable;
  • Prepare and file VAT, income tax, and other government reports.
  • Preparing regular financial analysis, management reports, annual budgets and forecast etc. and providing valued analyses and recommendations.
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to develop their skills
  • Assisting in coordinating auditing matters with external auditors;
  • Updating on accounting standards to ensure compliance of corporate policies and statutory requirements;

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • At least 5 years working experience
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel with operational experience in SAP;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and detail-minded;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and a team player;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and local languages;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Immediate available is highly preferred;
