We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This full-time role requires a candidate with solid full-cycle accounting experience. The successful candidate must be proficient in ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises) and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of daily financial operations, including invoicing and monthly inventory reconciliations, while maintaining clear, responsive communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full-cycle accounting duties, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation under ASPE.
  • Manage daily customer invoicing to ensure timely billing and accuracy.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations, identify variances, and collaborate with operations to resolve issues.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Prepare and analyze interim financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure alignment with accounting records.
  • Ensure accounting processes comply with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insight and support.
  • Maintain accounting software and reporting tools such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), CaseWare, and Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, exposure in different industries t is an advantage
  • Proficient in QBO, CaseWare, and Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE and Canadian accounting standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to work full-time, ideally between 7 AM to 2 PM Vancouver time.
